Hans Reinhard was born in Heidelberg, Germany and has now lived in southeast of Mexico for twenty years. He specializes in photographing stunning and sublime landscapes in the Mexican Caribbean, using the best natural light, and fashioning his unique style. He is free from rules and norms, and follows the great landscape artists of the Romantic period.

He has successfully participated in contests and exhibitions both nationally and internationally. He was selected in 2010, to take part in the art exhibition to commemorate two hundred years of Mexican Independence, at the Palace of Culture in Mexico City alongside over 28,000 international photographers. In 2010 he published 'Riviera Maya' a coffee table book with, 144 photos, and in 2014 ‘Playa del Carmen’. He was awarded the Graphic Arts National Prize.

Many of his works have won awards in prestigious international Fine Art Photography competitions, including MIFA ‘Moscow International Photo Awards’ FAPA ‘Fine Art Photography Awards’ in London, and ‘The International Pano Awards’.
